Harford Heart and Home Boutique is founded by Skyler and Mackenzie Harford. The online boutique was started out of a love for clothing. The sisters both enjoyed going shopping with each other and giving a little fashion show while they were out. On a cool fall day, the sisters decided to start a new adventure. They had always wanted to start something that their family and friends would love, and something they truly love is well-made clothing at a reasonable price. This decision began their mission. Their mission statement stated, “Our goal for this boutique is not to make wads of cash. Our main objective is to share our love of fashion and help our friends feel good about how they look while saving their money!”

After a year of business, the sisters continue to get more excited and are even more driven to serve their community. Their market area started with Mattoon and Charleston Illinois but has quickly grown to Decatur, Sullivan, and the surrounding areas. Their most recent addition includes fixing up an old mail truck that their grandpa used to drive for the Mattoon school district. The old truck is now drivable and can be taken to trade shows. The customer base they serve is anywhere from children to age 70+. They include everything from jewelry, clothing from 3T to 5X, home decor, and kids’ activities. The wide range of products makes them all-inclusive.
The girls continue to strive to become more immersed in the business world. They enjoy going to trade shows together and are hosting one in Mattoon during December. They thank their parents for their support and all of their wonderful customers for continuing to be understanding during a difficult year.
