Dan Orsborn, Territory Sales Manager at Entec Services has been able to utilize the space at Elevate in recent months to complete his office-style work. Situated at the Café’ Work Booths in the center, Dan visits nearly daily and completes quotes, responds to customer emails and enjoys, “a quiet place to work.”
Before working at Entec, Dan gained work experience in a variety of fields. Originally an employee of his parent’s fire and water restoration business, he then ventured briefly into construction and selling vehicles. However, the bulk of Dan’s work experience comes in the HVAC field, where his friend and peer Wes Sowell eventually introduced him to Entec.
Entec is a service company providing and maintaining, “anything from average heating and air, chillers, boilers and energy audits.” Dan says Entec is a close ally with Ameren, a large power company that provides energy to more than three million people. Additionally, Entec touches on a variety of building automation tools such as automatic lighting, doors, and key card access.
When asked what makes Entec unique from similar servicing companies, Dan answered, “We pride ourselves in what we do, we want to get it right the first time and avoid callbacks.” Dan goes on to add Entec is growing rapidly and looks to be widely recognized in the area within the next 5-10 years.
Entec can be contacted at their website, their home office at 4300 Entec Drive in Bartonville Il., or their new office currently under construction in Mattoon. Other organizations that frequent the services of Entec include the Kraft Facility in Champaign, both Charleston and the Mattoon school districts, as well as the Workman Sports Complex in Effingham.
