Faith Alvis, a high school senior at Mattoon High School. Currently involved in Student Council she helps plan school activities and participate within the student body. She is also involved in Key Club which helps students get out with volunteer opportunities to help the community. Faith is also the Class of 2022 Vice President who helped with the Class of 2021 graduation ceremony. Previously Faith participated in olympic weightlifting for 6 years where she worked her way up to being ranked 2nd nationally in the 49kg weight class.
For her business she plans on opening a small shop selling her crocheted pieces. Including stuffed animals, bags, clothing, and accessories. She plans on starting off on etsy an app platform for small businesses to showcase their home made creations. Faith is currently employed at Sarah Bush Lincoln Walk In Clinic where she gets hands-on experience with helping others. In the future Faith plans on attending Murray State University to Major in Music Education and Minor in Media Information. Overall Faith strives for success and enjoys the working process.
